Inventory Accountant

Responsibilities of Inventory Accountant:

• Perform the accounting transactions related to all inventory cycles, including Inventory Transfers, Receiving Inventory, recording vendor bills, Landed Costs, Assembly Builds, Inventory Adjustments.
• The Inventory Accountant will review Bill of Materials for accuracy
• Review and update inventory pricing in NetSuite
• Inventory reconciliations with plants; research and resolve discrepancies.
• Month end reconciliation of Inventory related GL accounts, including Inventory in Transit, Accrued Purchases and Landed Costs; research and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare TTB Reporting and Tax Compliance documents
• Assist with annual financial documents as required by outside accountants
• Develop Inventory reports as needed
• Other tasks and support as needed
• Other ad hoc projects and responsibilities as needed

Preferred Qualifications of Inventory Accountant:

• Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance a plus
• 2 years' relevant work experience, with at least 2 years of Inventory
• Understanding of Inventory, Sales Orders and Purchase Orders
• Warehouse/Manufacturing experience preferred
• NetSuite experience a plus
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
